From the August 15, 1900 Electrical Review showing various styles of Fred Locke insulators.
Fred Locke factory in Victor, NY in the summer of 1900. Men are cementing together porcelain tops and glass bases to make M-2795 for northern California lines. Note pile of glass bases on the ground at left. The shed has a pot for melting sulfur, which was used as a cement. The insulators were packed in the wooden barrels. The elevated train track can be seen at the left.
